The best adventure travel


KAYAK: GLACIER BAY, USA
The name should be enough to fans of sea kayaking. In Glacier Bay, Alaska, 10 glaciers descend from the mountains and become icebergs. The tourist boat Spirit of Adventure lets paddlers in various parts of the bay, where you can paddle more or less where you want. The brave do without the boat and paddled from Bartlett Cove to the glaciers of Muir Inlet (about two weeks). The most impressive icebergs are found in the West Arm, where, however, is problematic camp.

WALKING IN THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, SOUTH AFRICA
The Kruger boasts seven uncontaminated paths along which you can also make nighttime excursions accompanied by armed guides. The best path for spotting the 'Big Five' (rhino, buffalo, elephant, leopard and lion) is the Napi Trail. Most of the hike lasts two days and three nights, covering about 20 km per day in a leisurely pace ... unless, of course, you're being chased by a lion!

RIDE THE TRAIL Larapinta, AUSTRALIA
If you want 223 km of wonderful desert, devotes two weeks at the Larapinta Trail, the path follows the backbone of the West MacDonnell Ranges, one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. The Larapinta part from Alice Springs and arrive at Mt Sonder, through gorges that resemble oases, surpassing sharp ridges of quartzite and through the desert plains. Campsites and water tanks set up along the path to mitigate the harshness of the desert, but not its beauty.

TREKKING TO TORRES DEL PAINE, CHILE
Like a fist with broken fingers, the Torres del Paine rise to more than 2000 m above the Patagonian steppe. For 'real' walkers terms of 'Torres del Paine' is one of the most instantly recognizable in the world. The path most classic is the 'W' and it takes about five days. It starts from Laguna Amarga, climb up to the spectacular Mirador de Las Torres del Paine, at the foot of the towers, and continue, via Los Cuernos and Lago Pehoé, to Lake Grey, known for icebergs, some as big as houses.

A SWIM WITH THE ORCAS, NORWAY
Close your eyes and think of the dolphins and desserts will be easier to dive into Tysfjord (Norway). Every year, for a period of three months, the killer whales invade this fjord chasing herring.
